In the most recent election cycle, Teepell served as lead consultant for Senator Josh Hawley’s upset victory over incumbent Democrat Senator Claire McCaskill, enabling Republicans to expand their majority in the U.S. Senate, and served as a consultant to the Republican Governor’s Association overseeing their independent expenditures in six states and helping the RGA secure an upset victory for Governor Ron DeSantis in Florida and fend off a strong Democrat challenge in Oklahoma.
In his 25-year career, Teepell has managed and consulted campaigns at all levels, from state legislature to U.S. President. He’s served as Chief of Staff on the Hill in DC, before managing Bobby Jindal’s successful campaign for Governor in his home state of Louisiana. Teepell directed Governor Jindal’s transition successfully and later advised multiple new Governors on their transitions.
Teepell also served as Jindal’s first Chief of Staff, where he worked to implement historic reforms in education, healthcare and ethics.
In recent years, Teepell has served as a strategic consultant to companies, conservative causes, and multiple candidates across the country. Prior to returning to Louisiana, Teepell served as Deputy Political Director for the Republican National Committee.
