A leading Republican political and corporate advertising agency based in Alexandria, VA, is looking for an in-person Video Editor with a passion for storytelling and an eye for design. The ideal candidate has experience in video editing and is eager to grow their skills in the world of political advertising and production.

Applicants should thrive in a fast-paced, creative work environment and should be comfortable working collaboratively. This position works closely with the Creative Director and production team to create and produce television, digital, and radio advertisements for Republican political candidates and public affairs campaigns across the country.

The position is full-time and based in-office, offering excellent benefits. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Creative self-starter with an interest in visual storytelling and political media.
• Proven experience in video production editing commercials, social media videos, digital ads, or other short-form content in fast paced creative environments.
• Working knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities during campaign cycles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with the Creative Director and production team.

Experience editing commercials, social media videos, digital ads, or other short-form content is a plus, experience working in state, local, or federal politics is a plus but not required.
