Associate Producer/Video Editor

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER/VIDEO EDITOR

A leading DC based political and corporate advertising agency is looking for an in-house Associate Producer or Editor with a passion for storytelling and eye for design. The ideal candidate is looking to develop skills and gain hands on experience in the world of political advertising and production.

Applicants should thrive in a fast-paced and creative work environment and should be comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative atmosphere. Candidates would work closely with an experienced production team and should have a passion for videography, video editing, production, and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic knowledge of editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, AVID media composer).
• Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for visual storytelling.
• An aptitude for technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to put in extra effort to meet project deadlines.
• A portfolio or examples of previous video editing, filming, production, graphic design, or other creative work (if available) is a plus but not required.
• Experience working in state, local, or federal politics is a plus but not required.
